Lambrakis Foundation The Lambrakis Research Foundation (LRF) is a research and development institution in Greece that was initially drawn to education, culture and regional development especially in the new context of the united Europe. Today, its work draws upon its international expertise and its intensive research and development work in collaboration with prestigious public and private organisations, universities, research institutes and enterprises, in Greece and elsewhere in Europe. LRF leads the consultation workpackage (WP5) and exploitation work (WP8) of VISCED as well as contributes to the research and analysis work (WP2 and 3)being done.

Sero Consulting Ltd.
This UK based education, skills and economic development consultancy specialises in teaching and learning innovation through use of new technologies and development of digital skills - to enable personal, social and economic development. Much of the focus is on developing creativity and enterprise, particularly in the schools and post-16 (college) sector. Sero is co-ordinating VISCED as well as leading the research work of the project (WP2) and contributes to several workpackages.

European Federation for Quality in E-Learning (EFQUEL)
EFQUEL is a Belgian-based European association which enhances the quality of e-learning in Europe by providing a new services framework for members and support for all stakeholders. For VISCED, EFQUEL leads the work on success factors (WP4) and mainly contributes to consultation (WP5), dissemination (WP7) and other project activities.

ATiT
Audiovisual Technologies, Informatics & Telecommunications (ATiT) is a Belgian based audio-visual and media company specialising in the integration of ICT in the Training and Education sectors. It provides audio-visual production, project management, training and consultancy services to clients throughout Europe. ATiT leads the dissemination work of VISCED (WP7), contributes to the research (WP2) and analysis work (WP3) and other workpackages.

MENON
This European network based in Belgium fosters and smoothens innovation processes in areas such as education and lifelong learning, international science/technology co-operation, the knowledge society, and social inclusion. It plays a leading role in the case studies workpackage (WP4) and contributes to the research (WP2) and consultation (WP5) and other core activities.

University of Leeds, School of Educations
The School of Education in this UK university consists of staff that represent a substantial pool of research and teaching expertise who seek to share this as widely as possible with external groups, through offering services in the areas of both theoretical and applied research, consultancies and advice, evaluation projects, as well as training, workshops and bespoke courses, in the UK and worldwide. It leads the quality and evaluation work for the project (WP9).

Eesti Infotehnoloogia Sihtasutus (Estonian IT Foundation) (EITF)
The Estonian IT Foundation is a non-profit organisation that aims to assist in preparation of  highly qualified IT specialists and to support ICT-related development in Estonia. EITF is responsible for part of the research (WP2) and analysis work (WP3) in VISCED as well as dissemination (WP7) and other core activities.

Ross Tensta Gymnasium (Tensta)
This Swedish public high school implements a global curriculum for intercultural understanding as its majority of students are first or second-generation immigrants. Tensta develops an innovative method for educating such students for 21st century competencies. It leads VISCED’s pilot activities in European schools (WP6), testing out the recommendations and good practice emerging from the research work (WP2) and contributes to other workpackages.

Aarhus University
The Department of Information and Media in this Danish university includes historical, sociological, communicative, and design-oriented approaches to the study of the development and application of information technology on the level of individuals, organisations, and society. There is a specific research and teaching focus on IT and Learning, with a Masters of ICT and Learning. It is responsible for part of the research and analysis work in VISCED (WP2 and 3) as well as dissemination (WP7) and other core activities.

TIEKE

TIEKE, the Finnish Information Society Development Centre in Finland has a key networking role as a neutral and non-profit organisation in promoting the efforts of its members, within the public and private sectors alike, with an ultimate goal to create viable tools and expertise for use in the information society. It is responsible for part of the research and analysis work in VISCED (WP2 and 3) as well as dissemination (WP7) and other workpackages.
