VISCED at the EFQUEL Innovation Forum 2011

The EFQUEL Innovation Forum will take place for the 6th time this year and has been growing fast over the years. The programme of the EFQUEL innovation forum is now fully available online, headliners are Paul Bacsich, Steve Wheeler, Yves Punie, Asha Kanwar and Wayne Mackintosh. The focus of this year will be on innovative models for accreditation and certification in our new learning world, in which open educational resources and practices play a prominent role. But also evaluation practices, existing accreditation schemes, learner’s involvement, policy developments and research opportunities will be discussed.
Virtual Schools and Colleges will have a prominent place throughout the whole programme, with a meeting of the international advisory committee, a workshop on Excellent Virtual Schools and user-generated content (Sally Reynolds and Paul Bacsich) and a session on critical success factors and quality aspects for virtual schools.
The forum is a highly interactive place for discussions between all participants on current and future practices, research and policy in the various sectors of education.
