US State if Virginia requires all students to take some form of online course

Far from being scepitical about the value of online learning, the US state of Virginia has recently become the fifth US state to require some form of online learning before students graduate. eSchoolNews reports that starting with ninth-graders in autumn 2013, all students pursuing a standard or advanced-studies diploma must take some sort of online course or part of a course to graduate in Virginia.
