Extended deadline for ICDE abstracts

ICDE's 24th World Conference, entitled Expanding horizons ­ new approaches to ODL and taking place 2-5 October 2011 in Bali, Indonesia, has an extended date for abstracts: 30 May 2011.

The International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), the leading global membership organisation for the open and distance education community that is open to institutions, educational authorities, commercial actors, and individuals, is organising its 24th World Conference. Entitled "Expanding horizons ­ new approaches to ODL", this conference will take place from 2 to 5 October 2011 in Bali, Indonesia. For those that are interested in submitting an abstract, the extended date for abstracts is 30 May 2011.

 

Hosted by Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia, and supported by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia, the 24th ICDE World Conference on Open and Distance Learning will feature 8 keynote speeches, 297 paper presentations in 9 parallel sessions, and approximately 150 posters. Registration is open on the conference website, and early bird fees giving a saving of USD 100 are applicable until 30 May.
