Mats Öström from Ross Tensta school recommends the book "Advanced Learning" edited by Raquel Hijón-Neira at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. In this book, different authors study and discuss a variety of tools related to Web 2.0. The aim with the book is to help the educational community use the web effectively in their teaching and learning activities. It covers a variety of different topics from games in education to semantic web.

This book contains 27 chapters (you can download them separately). Chapter 1-5 is about good digital learning environments. Chapter 6-10 is about mobile learning and games in education. The semantic web and semantic tools are dealt with in chapters 11-15. In chapters 16-19 they study online communities and social software in education. They discuss standardisation in e-learning in chapters 20-23. Chapters 24-25 are dealing with robotics and bioelectronics. In the last two chapters 26-27 they presents the organisation of educational material. Download this book here.
